Hello my name is
Judy and as the above picture implies (pattern by Lynne Nicoletti), I am Canadian. In
1997 I realized a dream of opening a cross stitch supply retail store in my
hometown in Southwestern Ontarion Two years later I started shipping across
Canada and the following year a website was added to extend the business to the
internet.
I was a full time high school teacher and ran the retail store
with the help of a couple of good friends. I was and am an avid
cross stitcher and loved meeting others with the same passion. For this
reason I continued the business after I retired from teaching. By that time I
had moved the business into my home to keep it alive in a struggling economy.
Sadly though after 11 years I had to close my doors. Like many others, the
decrease in demand for cross stitch as other crafts increased in popularity,
coupled with the downturn in the economy made it impossible to
continue.
I have decided to
offer my remaining inventory online at deep discount prices until it is all
sold. Thus everything on this site is NEW
Mostly you will find
here a huge selection of patterns, charts and hardcovered books (incudes a small
selection of quilting and crochet/knitting patterns as well). I have nearly
four thousand patterns in stock! Although I will
focus mostly on patterns and a small line of kits be sure to watch for other
supplies as well, such as fabric and various specialty fibres.
This
will be a great opportunity for you to get patterns and other supplies at great
savings - a chance to get that hard to find pattern or the fabric and supplies
to finsih a project on hand.
